Deep Thoughts while Reading Plato
As I am reading the Euthyphro for the first time:
"God, Socrates would piss me off. "Oh, it's your incredible wisdom that makes you not want to try. That's why I've crushed you! Here, let me completely reverse everything you've said and show it to be true."
"...ass."
And so, the trial of Socrates suddenly made more sense.

I guess the best way to describe Socrates is as a militant ignoramus. "I don't know anything and neither do you! Here, let me show you." He is revered for reasons other, than his social skills.
And he was an ugly bastard to boot.
On a side note..."militant ignoramus." You may have touched upon genius here.
